As the judge of Burleson County, and on behalf of the Burleson County Commissioners’ Court, it is my great honor to welcome you to our beautiful county. We are glad you have taken an interest in our county, and we hope that you will take time to explore the area.

Burleson County is a great place to live and visit with a strong rural lifestyle feel. This rural lifestyle as well as increasing business opportunities is leading to unprecedented growth in our county. Increasing real estate values and interests are fueling economic growth in retail and commercial development as well. In addition, Burleson County has an extraordinarily strong and diverse agricultural industry that includes grain, cotton, produce, and livestock. These agricultural ties are part of what gives Burleson County its small-town charm.

While in the area, I hope that you take time to enjoy our restaurants, entertainment venues, and unique shops. If you prefer the outdoors, Somerville Lake provides an opportunity for recreation and those looking for that connection.

With all of this said, I truly feel that the greatest resource that this county has to offer is the people. I am truly blessed and humbled to have the honor to serve as County Judge for the most giving and genuine people that I have ever had the opportunity to know. This county truly rallies to support any youth related function or any individual or family that has had hard luck. In Burleson County you will find some of the best neighbors you have ever had. Burleson County is the place to live, raise a family, and retire because of its central location, friendly people, hometown feel, and quality of life beyond compare.
